EVENTS
Through ATLFilmParty, I curate and program work by emerging Atlanta filmmakers, exploring contemporary culture through their lenses. In-person gatherings are central to my practice — creating intimate, embodied spaces for direct exchange between artists and audiences. I organize and structure the moderations, facilitating conversations that ensure filmmakers’ voices are critically contextualized, documented, and archived. ATLFilmParty also supports these artists financially through cash prizes and stipends, helping their work reach wider digital and community audiences.

ATLFILMPARTY is a short film platform financially supporting Atlanta filmmakers.
ATLFILMPARTY champions the voices of local creators by providing space, resources, and funding opportunities for short films that challenge, entertain, and inspire. Since our launch in 2021, in the wake of the vaccine rollout, we’ve built a vibrant community through cash-awarded competitions, filmmaker Q&As, and showcases that spotlight Atlanta’s diverse, homegrown perspectives.
ATLWRITEParty
ATLWRITEPARTY is a spinoff event in partnership with Global Day of Unplugging and local Atlanta screenwriter, Alex Malcolm. It was created as a third space for Atlanta writers to gather in East Atlanta Village, put away their tech and use pen and notebooks to write whatever they wanted with encouragement, suggestions, and overall MCing by Alex.
COLLABORATIONS WITH ATLANTA CONTEMPORARY
Atlanta Contemporary hosted me as a film curator in collaboration with the museum, I showcased short films and organized moderated discussions and audience talk backs with a range of filmmakers based in Atlanta, Georgia.
COLLABORATIONS WITH FUTURE OF FILM IS FEMALE
ATLFILMPARTY joined forces with Future of Film is Female to screen a curation of ten shorts by Atlanta’s emerging filmmakers who identify as women and/or nonbinary.
